For over 15 years, I have been an on-site and online private tutor, specializing in mathematics, physics, and computer science subjects from secondary to graduate levels. My students come from prestigious boarding schools, colleges, and universities worldwide, including Concord College, Tonbridge School, Queen Ethelburga's College (UK), Milton Academy (USA), German Swiss International School, Hong Kong International School, Canadian International School, Singapore International School (Hong Kong), University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong (Hong Kong), Royal Holloway - University of London, Cass Business School (UK), and Harvey Mudd College (USA). I did A Levels in the UK, achieving straight 4As in Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Further Maths. I went to the University of Oxford for Engineering Science (Bachelor and Masters). I am familiar with both the UK iGCSE and IB syllabus. As a chartered CPA and MBA graduate from Tsinghua/MIT Sloan Business school, I can teach accounting and business-related subjects. I have years of working experience in Private Equity and M&A consulting. I have been teaching students for more than 10 years. I am skilled at explaining abstract concepts and training students with a high aim for public exams. I am available to travel, but mainly teach on HK Island only.

I specialize in Singapore-style Mathematics for kids in international schools, catering to students aged 5 to 16. With 7 years of experience, I have successfully assisted international students in Bangkok in excelling in Mathematics. I have aided numerous students in PSLE/iPSLE and IGCSE preparation. My teaching approach is tailored to your child's goals and ensures they are prepared if they ever have to return to Singapore. Moreover, Math doesn't have to be dull! :) I firmly believe in boosting children's confidence in Mathematics by equipping them with various skills and methods, such as model drawing and step-by-step problem-solving. Hello parents and future students! I am Mr. Captain. I specialize in teaching Mathematics and Science for both standardized exams and school subject tests. I attended an American International School in Thailand from kindergarten to grade 12, and later obtained an Engineering Degree from an International program at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok. Currently, I am an International School Teacher in Middle School Maths (Grades 6-8) and have been teaching since 2019. I have also taught at many private tutoring centers, mainly for International School students, and at an International School in Bangkok in the High School Department. This has made me very familiar with the programs provided at different schools (IGCSE, IB, AP, etc.) and the standardized exams that students are required to take (MAP test, IGCSE, A-levels, GED, SAT). Having studied only in International programs throughout my academic years, I am a native English speaker with an IELTS Speaking score of 8.5/9.
