I’m really glad I had the opportunity to learn from Sir Rickson. I’ve always found Physical Chemistry intimidating, but his classes helped me understand the concepts much more clearly. His teaching style is lively and engaging, which makes even the most challenging topics interesting and encourages students to stay focused throughout the session. He explains lessons in a simplified and approachable way that greatly improves comprehension. Thanks to him, I now find Physical Chemistry not only easier to grasp but also genuinely exciting to study. I highly recommend him as a tutor, especially if you're struggling with Chemistry or want to deepen your understanding in a fun and effective way.
I highly recommend Teacher Rickson to anyone looking to learn with patience and build a solid foundation before moving on to more advanced topics. While we couldn't cover all the material for my upcoming test due to time constraints, his clear and thorough explanations of the basics gave me the confidence and understanding to continue studying independently. I also truly appreciate his patience and commitment to teaching—he was always flexible and accommodating when we needed to adjust our session times.
I’m incredibly grateful for the support and guidance I’ve received from Teacher Rickerson. He taught me valuable strategies for tackling chemistry problems and has a remarkable ability to simplify complex concepts. He always takes the time to ensure I understand the material and provided plenty of review resources. Even though I’m in the U.S. and he’s in the Philippines, he consistently makes our sessions run smoothly, accommodating the time difference and coming fully prepared with helpful presentations. I used to be intimidated by chemistry, but now I feel confident and well-prepared. Thanks to his passion for teaching and dedication, my grade improved to an A - and I couldn’t be more thankful!
Very efficient tutor especially for those who struggle in organic chemistry!
Sir Rickson was very kind, understanding, and highly engaging in his tutoring approach. He makes sure that you understand the lesson by providing mini exercises during the session. The materials he created were also very useful because they were made tailor-fit based on the organic chemistry modules that we provided. He also provided us shortcuts and "cheat sheets" so that we could memorize various concepts easier. What surprised and impressed me the most was that he was able to fit 2-3 weeks worth of modules into 3 sessions. I always looked forward to these sessions because Sir Rickson's positive energy was highly contagious. Overall, because of Sir Rickson, I am more confident in organic chemistry!
I never really looked forward to solving practice problems in chemistry until my friends and I had several sessions with Sir Rickson. He made organic chemistry not only more enjoyable but also easier to understand, sharing plenty of tips and tricks that simplified even the most challenging topics. He always ensured that everyone fully understood a concept before moving on, and his positive energy kept me engaged—something I usually struggle with due to my short attention span. Surprisingly, in all four sessions with Sir Rickson, I stayed focused, listened actively, and participated without any distractions!
Very helpful and easy to digest, making complex concepts simpler to understand and apply.
The slides that were prepared were very digestible; they were easy to look back on after the review session itself. Rickson was also able to deliver a structured lecture that made the topic simpler than it is. He was also able to directly answer/address questions effectively.
Sir Rickson makes Chemistry easier by teaching shortcuts, which professors don't usually discuss. He was able to simplify concepts and different reactions effectively. He is highly recommended especially for those who need simplifying the topics.
Mr. Rickson is a kind and approachable tutor who breaks down complex concepts into simple and understandable ways. His services are reasonably priced, offering great value for students. Highly recommended!?
I had a great experience with Sir Rickson! He always asks for feedback, ensuring lessons are tailored to our needs. He starts with the fundamentals before diving into main topics, making learning easier to follow. He also actively engages students by encouraging participation, making sessions more fun and interactive.
Our team is incredibly grateful to Sir Rickson Albez for his help and expertise in our project, Deep Learning-Based Aedes Mosquito Classification for Automated Traps with Geotagging Alert. His knowledge and guidance made a huge difference in making our system more accurate and reliable. But more than just an expert, Sir Rickson is also a great tutor. Before validating our test cases, he took the time to teach us first, making sure we understood what he was doing. This not only helped us relate to his process but also allowed us to actively participate and learn along the way. His patience, clear explanations, and willingness to guide us made the experience even more valuable. We truly appreciate his support, and we highly recommend him to anyone who needs expert guidance in his field.
The teaching is good and professional, but it's better to ask the student first how much they understood and where they were weaker, so that the teaching can be focused on that, because sometimes time is wasted, especially if the student is already okay with that topic and there is only a particular part such as complicated solving and just needs more practice, that's why I think it's better to ask the student first if they don't focus too much on that part or just a small review if they really understood it and if so, focus on what needs to be focused on as to not waste the time, thank you.
Teaching approach makes the lesson easier to understand and makes it sure that the student understand the topic before proceeding. Super nice tutor!
The tutorial session was very productive. Sir Rickson explained the topics in a clear and easy-to-understand way. He was also very hands-on, ensuring that I grasped the lesson regardless of my initial understanding.
Rickson Albez has been an excellent tutor to me, as we've spent almost a month together studying Organic Chemistry. During our sessions, he elaborates on each subtopic in a way that is easy to digest. At times, he even provides techniques to help me remember the names, formulas, and essential information related to the topic. Moreover, he allows me to learn at my own pace, which has helped me absorb the material with ease—unlike the fast-paced learning environment in classrooms. He's also been very patient with me, despite my making multiple mistakes, even in areas I am already familiar with. This patience gave me the courage to push through, and throughout our last sessions, I noticed that I've gotten better at both nomenclature and solving problems. Overall, my performance in Organic Chemistry has improved since our tutorials. He made me realize that chemistry isn't as intimidating as I once thought; it also has its fun side. He gave me the confidence I have today, and I'm very grateful to him for guiding me throughout my college terms.
Sir Rickson is for everyone - whether you’re a beginner, a slow learner, or find chemistry topics hard to grasp. He is also the most affordable tutor I found. He is patient whenever I get confused with a concept and will ensure it is simplified until I can understand it. He does this through mnemonics, word associations, and analogies (and sometimes trivia). Often, he is also hilarious and likes to build connections with us to keep the discussion engaging. He also makes sure we complete various activities after discussing the topics, then assesses where we stand and continues teaching or clarifies points as needed. PS: I entered the examination room confident in my abilities because he had prepared me so well in Chemistry. Thank you, Sir!

Sir Rickson is a very good tutor! Although we only had a short time together, it was very productive! He was able to tailor fit the lectures to me so that I would understand not only what's needed to be understood but also gain deeper, conceptual understanding of the topics. He's a good teacher altogether that knows how to play with his own and his tutee's strengths and weaknesses. He's also passionate, with vigor and energy, to teach! Overall, my experience with him was very good.
My main focus is Biochemistry, more specifically protein chemistry of agricultural insect pests. I usually teach General, Inorganic, and Organic Chemistry.
I use Zoom for holding online classes and Canva for editing the lecture slides needed in the tutorial sessions.
I go back to basics. Since chemistry has its own language, the student must first be familiar with how it is spoken, and so I usually conduct a refresher on the fundamentals before I begin my tutorial proper.
Yes. I have a BS in Agricultural Chemistry, and several requirements to be fulfilled to earn the degree were to finish a huge load of Chemistry lab units. I show these laboratory experiments once the student has mastered the concepts behind in order for them to appreciate the phenomenon behind the observed reality of these lab exercises.
I own a molecular kit myself to demonstrate spatial topics, such as inversion, racemization, and conformation. I make it engaging by letting the student say their thoughts on what may be the answer to what I asked before I reveal the correct answer.
We answer tons of practice problems together. Even though I am an educator at this point, I still have areas to improve on, and I make sure I am 100% present with my students as they prepare for their academic opportunities.
